When a vehicle no longer has any remaining factory warranty, most dealerships will offer this vehicle "As-Is." This means if there are any mechanical breakdowns after you take delivery of the vehicle, you are responsible for the repairs. At John Hinderer CDJR, we believe that you should be covered. That's why we put these pre-owned vehicles through the rigorous 125-point quality assurance inspection. Our service departments must adhere to Certification inspection standards in order for a vehicle to qualify as a Certified vehicle. If a vehicle fails just 1 of these inspection points, it cannot be certified. No exceptions.

Maximum Care Coverage provided with CPO and CPO GO Vehicles

For the first 3 Months and 3,000 Miles of owning your Certified vehicle, you will have peace of mind with Maximum Care coverage. This is also known as exclusionary coverage. It is called exclusionary because it is easier for the coverage to list what is not covered rather than list everything that is covered. If it is not listed in the exclusions below, it’s covered!

What’s not covered:

These items are not covered by the Maximum Care 3 Month / 3,000 Mile Coverage: wear items, tires, wipers, maintenance services and items used in those services, glass and plastic lenses, body and paint repairs including dents, soft trim items, remote transmitters, accessories added after manufacture including snowplows, winches and trailer hitches, manual clutch assembly and facings, belts and hoses, and normally replaceable brake parts, including shoes, pads, rotors and drums.

Covered Parts:

Engine:

Engine block and cylinder heads and all internally lubricated parts including pistons, piston rings, pins and cylinder sleeves; crankshaft, pulley, main bearings, caps and bolts; connecting rods, rod bearings, caps and bolts; camshaft(s), camshaft bearings, buttons and plugs; timing gears and timing chain or belt; rocker arms, rocker arm pivots, shafts and bushings; intake and exhaust valves, springs guides, adjusters, retainers and seats; pushrods and lifters; intake manifolds; rotary engine housing, rotors, shims and silent shaft; ring gear; fuel pump and water pump.

Transmission/Transaxle:

Transmission/Transaxle case and all internally lubricated parts including ring and pinion gears, oil pump, cover, gears, housing and vanes, torque converter, valve body(s), throttle valve, valve pack, governor, gear and cover, parking gear and valve, roll pins, sprags, sprockets, chain, springs, stator and shaft, pressure regulator valve; pressure switches, solenoids, banks, automatic transmission/transaxle, clutch, drums, pistons and steel plates, planetary and sun gears, servos and rings, blockers, synchronizer hubs and keys, bearings, bushings, supports and shafts; control rings; yoke; extension housing; speedometer, drive gears; accumulators and rings, adjusters, shift cover and forks; separate bell housing.

Drive Axle:

Differential/axle housing(s) and all internally lubricated parts including the axle flange; ring and pinion gear/carrier assembly; spider gears and bearings; pins; retainers; positraction clutches; plates and springs; cover. Axle shafts, drive shafts, output shaft, universal joints, and constant velocity joints.

Brakes:

Master cylinder, power booster, calipers, hydraulic lines and fittings.

Steering:

Steering gear housing and internal parts including control rings, valves, pinion shaft, pitman shaft, worm shaft and gear, sector shaft, bearings, bushings, adjusters; rack and pinion housing and internal parts including control worm shaft and gear, sector shaft, bearings, adjusters; hydraulic and electric power steering pump/motor and internal parts including housing, reservoir, shaft and vanes.

Electrical:

Alternator housing and all internal parts including bearings, bushings, brushes, rectifier bridge, diodes, field coil and rotor; starter motor housing and all internal parts including bushings, brushes, field windings, starter drive and solenoid.

Fluid Coverage:

Replacement of necessary fluids, oils, greases, lubricants and approved A/C gasses that must be replaced in conjunction with a covered repair. (This coverage does not apply to shop supplies).
